RepRap: a Mendel X Carriage...

I printed most of the parts for a Mendel X Carriage last night and assembled it tonight while the rest of the parts were printing. I still can't believe this is possible. I am filming, so expect a new onshouldersTv episode in the coming months.

RepRap: another beginning...

Back in 2008 I built a RepStrap out of poplar and MDF. Since then, a lot has been happening in the RepRap community and it is time for me to get current. To this end I printed my first Mendel part today.

RepStrap: new extruder installed...

Just a quick update. My new extruder is now installed. I'm getting a much cleaner print at a quarter the print time.



I'm now in the process of printing backup parts before starting to print a Mendel.
