tv: The Scratch Flight

Building a remote controlled plane from scratch has always been at the top of my bucket list. This week I popped it off the stack, built, and flew! You could argue what I did isn't really flying. I might agree with you. Ha. But it's a start. I just need LOTS of practice!

I built this plane out of dollar tree foam and packing tape by following the masterful tutorials of Experimental Airlines.

  1. Hi Gavilan,

i recently came across your website and was quite impressed about what you are doing. Keep going on and thumbs up!

Concerning the video about your RC-flight i just wanted to mention, that i very much like the attitude, to also document the failures and to give an impression, what happens behind the scenes and that it is sometimes a long and hard way to become successful.

    Best regards,

  3. Nice post and as Pharmacy supplier said, I am subscribing :) However, even though this post is about RC planes, I have a question regarding drones, if you are swimming in those waters that is :) I am interested in one specific model and would love to hear your opinion about it. I'm talking about the Walkera Scout X4 model and you can check out the review of it here: http://mydronelab.com/reviews/walkera-scout-x4.html
